Char Dham Yatra
Travel Duration : 12 Days / 11 Nights
Destinations Covered : Delhi - Haridwar - Barkot - Yamunotri - Uttakashi - Gangotri - Rudraprayag - Kedarnath - Badrinath – Rishikesh – Delhi
Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar
On your arrival at the Delhi airport/railway station, our representatives will be there to receive you. From there, you will be taken to Haridwar. After reaching there, you would check into the hotel and then, leave for attending the evening arti at Har ki Paudi. Night stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Haridwar – Barkot
After having breakfast in the morning, you will leave for Barkot. After
reaching there, you will check into your respective camps and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay will be at the camps only.
Day 03: Barkot - Yamunotri – Barkot
The morning will start with the drive towards Jankichatti, the base for Yamunotri trek. After reaching there, you will start your trek and reach the temple of Goddess Yamuna by afternoon. The darshan and puja will be followed by a dip in the hot springs situated there. You may even cook rice in the hot water. Thereafter, you will come back to Barkot and stay overnight.
Day 04: Barkot – Uttakashi
In the morning, you will start jour journey towards Uttarkashi,
visiting Kashi Vishwanath Temple on the way. After reaching there, you will go to your Char Dham camp and freshen up a bit. Night stay will be at the camp.
Day 05: Uttarkashi - Harsil - Gangotri – Uttarkashi
You will leave for a full day excursion trip to Gangotri, via Harsil. The place has a temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga and is believed to be the same spot that Ganga first touched, when she came to earth. After having darshan and doing puja, you will start your drive towards Uttarkashi. Overnight stay will be at the camps only.
Day 06: Uttarkashi – Rudraprayag
The drive towards Rudraprayag will keep you occupied in the first half of the day. Rudraprayag is situated at the confluence of river Mandakini and river Alaknanda. Taking a dip at the confluence is believed to hold great significance. After reaching there, you will check into the base camp and stay overnight.
Day 07: Rudraprayag – Kedarnath
Breakfast will be followed by the drive towards Gaurikund, from where you will trek towards Kedarnath. Dedicated to Lord Shiva,
the temple situated at Kedarnath is highly revered amongst the Hindus. After getting the darshan and doing the puja, you will spend the night at the camps in Kedarnath only.
Day 08: Kedarnath – Rudraprayag
In the morning, you will have your breakfast and then, start your trek towards Gaurikund. After reaching there, you will proceed towards Rudraprayag. In Rudraprayag, you will check into your camps and retire for the night.
Day 09: Rudraprayag – Badrinath
This is the day for visiting the last one of the four dhams i.e. Badrinath. You will leave for Badrinath in the morning, visiting Chopta medical forest on the way. Badrinath is known for being the abode of Lord Vishnu. After reaching the place, you will go for darshan and the evening arti. For the night, you will be staying at the camps in Badrinath only.
Day 10: Badrinath - Joshimath – Rudraprayag
After having breakfast in the morning, you will visit the nearby Mana Village, Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul. Thereafter, you will leave for Joshimath, visiting Vishnu Prayag on the way. After having lunch at Joshimath, you will proceed towards Rudraprayag. In Rudraprayag, you will check into your camps and stay overnight.
Day 11: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh
You will be driving down to Rishikesh, after having breakfast. On the way, you will make stoppages for visiting Deoprayag, confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda Rivers. After arriving in Rishikesh, you will check into the hotel and then, go for attending the evening arti at Parmath Niketan Ghat. The night stay will be at the hotel.
Day 12: Rishikesh – Delhi
The last day of your trip will see you leaving for Delhi. You will be taken to the airport/railway station for catching a flight/train to your destination.
