Day 01: Arrive Delhi by International flight
Today you will arrive at Delhi International airport. Meeting & Assistance on arrival, Our Representative welcome & escort you by a private car & transfer to the hotel, whilst room, the keys and check-in is organized, our representative would hand over the documents and brief the tour programme to you. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, you will be taken on a full day sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi visiting the Red Fort – Built by Emperor Shah Jehan, Jama Masjid -Largest Mosque in India, Raj Ghat – Where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, India Gate, Parliament House, President House, Hamayun’s Tomb & Qutub Minar – The 72.5 metres- High tower. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Delhi/Simla (343kms)
After breakfast, drive to Simla, This city founded by the British was also the summer capital , who use to come in summer months to escape the heat wave of Delhi. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 : Simla
After breakfast you will be taken on a half day tour of Simla visiting Mashobra, Kufri Ski resort and Wildflower Hall, where you will see mountain flowers and magnificent views of the Himalayas & other places of interest. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05: Simla/Manali (285kms)
After breakfast, drive to Manali takes about 8 hours to reach. On way, to stop in Mandi and visit the famous Baijnath temple, situated on the banks of river Beas. This small town has it”s own charm of being an ancient city and was once the capital of a small princely Rajput state , which later in the year 1846 came under the British.On arrival check-in at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Manali
After breakfast, you will be taken on a city tour of Manali visiting Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, Tibetan Monasteries and Vashist Hot Water Springs and Temple.Rest of the day is free. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07 : Manali/Keylong (140kms)
After breakfast to visit the famous spot the Rohtang pass, situated at 3,978 metres and gives access to Spiti valley. Spend some time at Rohtang pass and thereafter to continue journey to Keylong , the ancient city of Lahul Spiti. On arrival check-in at hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08 : Keylong /Sarchu (105kms)
After breakfast to leave for Sarchu which is 105 kms and takes about 6 hours to reach. This journey involves first descending towards the Darcha plane and thereafter to go up, towards the Baralacha pass { 4,883 meters } and is one of the highest pass in the world !! and enter the oriental basin of Zanskar. Overnight in Tents.
Day 09 : Sarchu/Leh (233kms)
After breakfast to leave for Leh which is 233 kms and takes about 8 hours to reach. This journey takes us through mountain passage of rare beauty and get to see the beautiful scenery of Zanskar and also travel through Lachlung pass { 5060 mtrs } and thereafter travel through the Taglang pass { 5328 mtrs }.To continue journey and descend into the semi-desert valley passing by Rumtse,Gya and Meru. While travelling, could see snow covered mountains, cultivated land , which is an amazing sight at such high altitude.To arrive in Leh by the evening hours and check in at hotel.\ Rest of the evening at leisure and Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10 : Leh-Spituk-Stok-Leh
After breakfast to visit the famous Tibetan monasteries of Spitok and Leh and famous temples of Ladakh region which are all well conserved and shows particular kind of art with extreme intensity. Spitok is a group of buildings which have been reconstructed on the original plan of phyang, principal monastery of the foundation of the sect Drugungpa, which has ruled since the 16th century. Thereafter, to visit the Royal palace of Stok , followed by the afternoon visit to the Leh city and it”s important Palaces / reggia. The reggia of Leh
although mostly in ruins portrays well the greatness and richness of the Tibetan royals. Later to return to the hotel and be at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 11 : Leh-Shey-Thiksey-Hemis-Leh
After breakfast to visit places Shey , Thiksey and Hemis and visit the famous monasteries.
Shey, in the Indus valley represents the incredible natural scenery and it”s greenery. Here one gets to visit the Royal palace, which as of now
is in ruins but still shows the great form of being in it”s original form. After Shey to visit Thiksey, where one gets to see monasteries of ancient
times of around the 15th century all controlled by the sect Gelupka and stands as the most important monastery of the monarchs.
After Thiksey, to visit Hemis. Here one gets to see besides monasteries sculptures, paintings and the Tibetan culture.
Later in the evening to return to Leh. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 12 : Leh/Delhi & Depart
After breakfast to check out from the hotel and depending on flight timings to depart for airport for flight to Delhi.On arrival you will be assisted by our representative for your onward travel plans.
